For the Choice Drawing, I drew these three wine glasses on gray paper with charcoal pencils. I am very happy with the composition of this piece as well as the value scale that I was able to use. However, using charcoal made it very difficult to create specific details in the drawing, such as the reflective qualities of the glass and the bright white color of the shining light. Because of these difficulties, I do not think that this was my best drawing. If I could do this again, I would draw on white paper with a graphite pencil because I usually have better luck creating fine details with that medium. There are definitely some aspects that I would alter in this drawing, but overall, I like the result.
